Good-Bye Texas… Again!

You don’t appreciate what you take for granted ‘til you go without for awhile. For Texas, we’ll miss the  friendliness of  its people, their willingness to help others, and the diversity of landscapes and cultures. It’s the easy ‘howdy’ from complete strangers, the roll of blooming bluebonnet hills, white-washed weather-worn towns, and country cookin’ joints that won’t leave you wanting. Throw in a healthy dose of cowboy hats, lovely languishing longhorns, rural festivals, and you have a snapshot of what we miss. Good-bye Texas, our Lone Star State… we will certainly return!
